What stutter type time based effect is this?
Here is the effect @ 0:50 seconds until @ 0:59 seconds, that is shot of person emptying food bag,

I am referring to the time based skipping effect, repeating effect.
What would you call this effect?
I am mainly wondering if there is a plugin available that can
randomize it or create the effect?I know you can simply create a time frame in the source clip
and drag then duplicate, or do some manual cuts, copies.It seems to be happening to the beat of the music as well,
which could have just came down to the cutting, pasting,
selecting aspects.Going even further..
If one could use an effect like Beat Reactor in After effects to trigger something to create the effect.What are your thoughts on this effect?

This looks like a stop motion. There are many ways to create this and numerous tutorials to show you how. As far as plug-in to create is goes, I am sure there may be one out there, but the cost may be high and the effectiveness of what you want may be hard to achieve with a plugin.

Nope, it’s not stop motion. It’s a series of manual jump cuts on a single long take. There’s no way to automate this, you just need to put your head down and do it.
