  Screen goes black during playback, when paused it shows the frame the playhead is on

  This is my first and probably last post. I am the only person on the internet with this exact problem. I have reinstalled premiere 3 times, I have reinstalled my video drivers, I have done everything I could find online and I desperately need help.

  Sounds like the monitor or video card cannot play the frame rate you are outputting from the timeline. We had the same problem with our Flanders1770 monitor and our Black Magic card. We had a 29.97 timeline with the same symptoms you described, when we changed the timeline to 59.97 the monitor would accept it.
