  When creating a new project I can only choose DV capture format

  On the new project window I can only choose DV capture format (instead of DV or HDV). Why is that?
  Can someone please help!?

  You can totally disregard that, doesn’t matter. What are you actually working with for footage? Just choose an appropriate SEQUENCE setting to match footage.

  If you ARE capturing footage via Firewire, or device such as Black Magic or Matrox capture card, you can always change that when in the Capture panel later.

  Thanks Jeff! I am working with DSLR footage… I thought that it had something to do with compression/codec and that will affect my material… Thanks again, feeling better now! 🙂

  Any ideas why the “hdv” option would just disappear?
