I’m editing in PPCC and import BPAV folders, and edit native EX1 and EX3 footage, and every so often I notice that several files upon import, all import fine, however, there are the same clips on the timeline, just numbered differently. The files are identical in size and specs, and so I go through and ensure they are duplicates and delete the ones I don’t need. Is this normally the way Sony’s EX1 and EX3 cameras record? Is the camera duplicating the clips on the card? PPCC sure isn’t cloning them… Any thoughts? It’s not a big deal, but sometimes an annoyance. Also, when I drag the clips all on to the time-line, sometimes, it lays them out of order, so I have to ensure the clips are in order, 1,2,3,4 instead of 1,3,2,4, etc…
