  Chroma Key in Premiere/ After Effects

  So I’ve read a bunch of threads I just want to explain what I’m doing and see what the better way is.

  Right now I have a project that is 2 synced cameras both on Green Screens.

  I key all the raw footage and export it lossless and then replace the footage.

  Is it better to just import the Premiere Project into AE, do the key on the 2 shots and paste it onto the rest of the footage?

  If your green screens are clean then Ultrakey in Premiere will do a very good job. If you need more finessing and fine-tuning then use Keylight in AE.

  On this particular project I need to use Keylight. My question isn’t really what tool to use it’s the order in which to use them. I’m just trying to see if there is a simpler way to do it.
