  Premier Pro CS6 Time Remapping

  PLEASE help! Variable speed doesn’t work. I have a clip I want to slow down to 30% for a few seconds (which works fine), then bring it back up to 100% – but when I try that, by clicking and dragging on the line (in the Timeline), the speed always jumps to like 188%. I tried to adjust it in the Effects panel, and it won’t let me type it in numerically. Please help – anyone… I’m on a new iMac. Thank you!!
