  Adobe Media Encoder issue – Black pixel border

  Hello, I’m having an issue with videos exported out of Adobe Media Encoder. Let me outline my process flow to show you what I’m doing:

  1. Importing video (.AVI, SHQ2 codec, 1280×720, Square Pixel) into Premiere Pro.
  2. Dynamic Link into AE, applied Keylight, Remove Grain and Sharpen
  3. Audio edited in Audition
  4. Exported using Adobe Media Encoder (H.264, Progressive Field Order, 5 mbps VBR, cropped to 4:3)

  I’m importing the videos into Adobe Captivate, to be shown on a slide. Each export I’ve tried results in video with a black border of at least 1 pixel width on at least one edge of the video. When I publish and view the Captivate tutorial in Google Chrome, I see the black lines. Viewing the same output in Firefox does not show any black lines.

  I’ve added a picture to illustrate what I’m talking about. I have to think this is an issue with my export settings. I’ve seen a few people discussing this, but none of the fixes listed had any effect for me. Can anyone help? Thanks!

  Feather the edge, see if that will help.
