  import Avid files into Premiere CS6 error

  Hi, I’m trying to import Avid files from a news client into my CS6 soft but it doesn’t recognize the format. These files come to me in a simple mxf/xmp file architecture. Is there a way to import these via other software please? Regards, Dieter
