  Premiere Pro CS6/After Effects CS6/EVGA NVIDIA GTX 970 Superclocked

  Concerned with the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 (superclocked) video card:
  MFR Part# 04G-P4-1972-KR, and compatibility with
  Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6 and GPU acceleration.

  I edit music videos, and other things for clients.
  I do gameplay videos where I take the .mp4 files and put them in the timeline(captured with Elgato HD60 Capture Card with PS4)
  I also do dynamic link with After Effects.
  I use some Magic Bullet plugins for color correction/effect/other. Magic Bullet Looks 2 with various effects stacked. Some clips will have this, some will not.
  Twixtor for some slow motion.
  I deal mainly with H.264 file types as of now.
  .mts
  .mp4
  .mov
  From my various recording devices.

  The 64GB SSD drive is only a cache drive for Intel Smart Response Technology use. I may be upgrading to a Velociraptor hard drive. I will also be getting a good SSD as well. Planning on upgrading video camera as well in the future, and thinking about possible future needs.
  But again, mainly concerned with compatibility of the GTX 970 and GPU acceleration.

  In your entire post you never once mentioned whether you’re on a Mac or a PC – that makes a huge difference, the GPU you’re looking at will only work with a PC. If you do have a PC that GPU will be just fine.

  Yes, you are correct, thought it had Windows 7 Professional on the build, must have deleted. I have an unopened box of Windows 7 Pro that I did not use on another build I did for Audio production mixing and mastering that is in my studio.
  Pro supports above 16GB RAM in case I ever need to upgrade as you know.
  Thanks for the response. I did not see the GTX 970 in the list, so I was concerned.

  I will also be playing games, and recording gameplay with the Elgato HD60 on the same computer(to another drive) as well.
