Though I’m fairly experienced with Track Motion in After Effects, I wanted to use this feature that is in Premiere CC 2014 (mask for blur) to track something pretty distinctive (a logo the size of a fist in a med shot) and wow, it seems to be pretty bad. The thing being tracked is there in plain sight and not moving that much but the tracker (on different shots) gets lost in a second or two.

I checked my methodology against this Larry Jordan tutorial and I seem to be doing everything right. Any clues, tips? About ready to abort and move the whole endeavor to AE

    Thanks,
