I did a search and found similar issues – but nothing soecific, so I’m turning to the boards in the hope of fnding a real solution.

Lets say you have an image of a vine, very curly, with other vines shooting off from this main vine.

What’s the best way to animate this so it appears to be growing/appering from it’s base to it’s farthest point and the smaller vines growing appearing off the main vine?

I’m ready to kick my rig.

    Best,
    Josh

Take a look at Jayse Hansen’s “Growing Vines” tutorial

Growing Design Elements in AE. While it uses vector art, it would work on other footage types as well using similar techniques.
