AE not displaying large files…
Hi there:
I’ve been working on a project in Premiere that has Camtasia footage which is 15fps. I shot the live action with my panny HVX200 at SD NTSC 24p.
When I render the final short film uncompressed or a large quicktime file, I bring it into After Effects and the video doesn’t play in the comp window and when I look at the audio in the timeline, I don’t see the waves. Up in the project display, I DO see the wavs…
Also, when I bring the Camtasia file into AE by itself, it won’t play either. I’m getting a little frustrated!
I’ve also tried importing the Premiere project, which is my preferred way of doing this so that I can make the camtasia stuff look a little better. That ain’t working either. The project window shows color bars where the camtasia footage is. When I replace the footage with the actual camtasia file, the video, once again, won’t play.
I’ve tried various settings including playing with the project settings all the way up to 32 bit color.
I’ve never had this happen before!
I sure hope I’m missing something easy!!!
Thanks for suggestions.
