premiere export matte color issue
i’m having a color issue with video exported from premiere
I have a shot with a character on a white background. i adjusted the white levels that the color behind him is pure white. I then cut him out using the 8 point garbage matte and put a white matte behind him.
since the background matches that matte, where one ends and the other begins is seamless in.
when i export the footage, the matte becomes grey, but the background behind the character remains white. so you can see exactly where the image is cut out.
I wouldn’t really mind the color shift if it was consistent and the matte and footage background was the same color.

VBR, 2 Pass, Target 10, Max 12 Mbpsi’ve tried exporting in several formats and always have this issue.
