  CC closed captioning to 708 spec

  I’m adding closed captioning to :15 spots, so I’m doing it laboriously, creating them in Premiere Pro CC (not 2014). The 608 spec displays properly, but the 708 spec displays with periods between each character:

  

  Sorry – you may have to take my word for it. I found literally one hit on an Adobe forum about this, and that guy’s problem was mixed frame rates. I’m doing everything at 29.97 DF, so that’s not the issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
