How do I share/export bins?
Last year, I culled through a whole bunch of footage and named it and organized it into bins. The project is huge! Now, I need the BIN to make a nostalgia piece. I only want that one particular bin. How do I get it out of Project A and into Project B?
EDIT: I’m on CS6.

If you use the media browser panel and navigate to the location of the legacy PPro Project and choose it….can you see the bins?

Here’s what I did.
I created a sequence from each bin. And then used Project Manager to put those sequences and media in a good place. And then closed that project. Opened a new project and used Media Browser to import the bin/sequence stuffs.
It’s not bad.

did you need to replicate the media?
you can always import one project into another and then just delete what you don’t need.
however in that case the media stays in place.

You can choose what you want to do with the media, copy it, copy it with handles, or just “link” to it. For this project, I just linked to it, but I can see where it would nice to put the media somewhere else.
