  RED Footage

  Hey all I was reading an article on Nvidia,https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/10/03/gone-girl-nvidia/

  Their workflow is very similar to what im doing, but i have one question, they convert the red files into DPX. Do they keep it this way for the final product and export the final as a DPX? Is it recommended to convert red files into DPX or is it purely for speeding up the workflow?
