  Relink offline media with different frame rate in Premiere CC

  Hi All,

  I’ve done something stupid and I’m hoping that someone here might have a quick fix.

  I shot something with a Red in 4K. I transcoded the footage (in prelude) to prores 720. I’ve completed my offline edit and when I was switching back to the full sized Red files for color correction (by switching finder names and then redirecting premiere – I wish there was an easier way to do that but that’s another post), my timeline was filled with the diagonal danger bars. The problem? – I realized that when I transcoded my footage, I transcoded it to 24fps, but the red footage footage is 23.976fps. SO ANNOYING!

  Is there a quick way to relink all my footage with the proper in and out points with the two different frame rates?

  I know there are two possible solutions:
  1. Relink Red footage clip by clip
  2. Transcode original footage to the proper frame rate and try and relink those (although, I assume that will be the same problem, but it will be easier to correct everything using the smaller footage).

  If anyone has a thought, I’d very much appreciate it. Thanks!
