  • Feature Request – make multiple new sequences

You know how you can drag a piece of media to the “new” icon and get a sequence with the media’s settings?

It would be awesome if you could drag multiple items to the “new” icon and get multiple sequences.

For example if I know that I need each interview on its own sequence, and let’s say I have 30 of them, is there some automatic way to make 30 new sequences?

    Thanks

You can make a feature request directly with Adobe here:

Maybe you could use a modifier key when you drag clips to the “new” icon to tell Premiere these items need to be in separate sequences.

Yep…I’d like that and an option when nesting multiple clips to nest to 1 or multiple sequences as well.

On the plus side CC lets you rename a nested sequence and have that actually be reflected on a sequence containing a renamed nest

It’s the little things that make a difference
