  Not able to drag transitions to clip

  I cannot apply transitions to my clips! It was working fine a few days ago, but not it won’t work. This is what the cursor/selector looks like when dragging the transition to the clip:

  As I see it you are trying to drag a video transition (dip to black) to an audio clip.
  Video track I is hidden.

  How do I split it into a video clip and audio clip?
