Can I open premiere cc projects in premiere 5.5? How to convert MXF file to Quicktime Mov>
Hi all, I have been working for a while on Premiere CC but now I have to work on Premiere 5.5 and I need to know if my working files on CC can be opened in 5.5. I would really appreciate the help since my processor can’t sustain to run CC on it. Thank you and much appreciated

Premiere Pro does not save down, so you can’t take a .prproj file from Pr CC back to Pr CS5.5.
However, you can export XML from CC and import the XML back into CS5.5. Some limitations apply; not everything will carry over with XML.
The system requirements have not changed from Premiere Pro CS5.5, so I don’t know what kind of improvement you’ll really see. In my experienece, the later versions of Premiere have actually performed better on the same hardware.
