    Hi

I have edited a short film and for many of the clips I only dragged the visual and not the audio as wasn’t required. But now the customer wants the audio – how to I find the exact audio for each clip in the timeline?

Hope someone can help me out

    Thanks

    Gavin

If you are using FCP keyboard shortcuts…

you park at the head of a clip and hit “F”

this will match you back to the source (as marked, I think) in the viewer.

from there you should be able to patch your tracks in the sequence and there is some sort of “replace” edit you can do via right click on the clip in the sequence (i think)…

not exact…but should start getting you going…
