Bad fit after replacing proxy files with originals?
Hi all,
I am new to proxy editing. I just completing an edit (of a short project, luckily) using proxies. I successfully got Premiere to re-link to the original files, but I’m having a problem where the fit in the program window is very bad—it’s as though I was viewing at like 400%. I’ve tried changing the fit from “fit” to the various percentages, but this simply changes the size of the clip within the program window; it still appears “zoomed in.” I’ve also tried “fit to frame size” and “set to frame size,” but neither of these has any effect.
Seeing as when I was editing with the proxies I used the “set to frame size” command, it seems like thr program window got set on only seeing a particular number of pixels or something. The only way I have seen to get around this is to go around “matching frames” and manually dragging the files back from the bin and into the project. For this project, that isn’t too bad, but on larger projects in the future I want to know how to avoid this.
I know there are a lot of threads about similar things, but I haven’t been able to find this specific issue. Thanks.
