  Problems Rendering Effects with GPU Acceleration (OpenCL)

  Hello there!

  I’m having a terrible issue rendering with OpenCL GPU Acceleration.
  Rendering footage without effects always works fine, but when I try and render effects in Premiere it usually crashes about 1/3 of the way in.

  If I disable GPU Acceleration it also renders fine, it just takes forever.

  I wonder if there is a known solution to this? I couldn’t find anything, which is why I have posted.

  Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

  System Specs:
  Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
  Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHz (2 CPUs)
  6GB RAM
  AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB

  AMD cards are not what you want for Adobe on Windows. I suggest getting an Nvidia 760GTX card. That would far outperform that AMD card with Adobe. You may try to resolve the Open CL buffer issue your having by updating to the latest catalyst driver here.

  Check for an oversized or high dpi picture(1000dpi jpeg, tiff) at the point of crash.
