Export a looping video in premiere pro on a USB stick
Posted by Nickie Ioannou on July 4, 2014 at 9:48 amHi people!
Is there a way to export a video in Premiere pro on a USB stick and have it playing in a looping mode on a new TV?
Need this immediately! Thanks!

July 6, 2014 at 12:10 amOf course, the looping function would best be achieved through whatever media player your TV uses.
But, since you’re asking about Premiere…
My best guess for the “looping” function you’re seeking is finalize your Sequence edits, then nest your Sequence into a new one, and duplicate your edited Sequence however many times you want the video to run.
So, you have your edited Sequence – let’s call it “Final Edit” Sequence. Then, you create a new blank Sequence – let’s call it “Looping” Sequence. Drag your “Final Edit” Sequence into “Looping” Sequence. You’ll see “Final Edit” Sequence in the “Looping” Sequence timeline. Then, just copy and paste “Final Edit” Sequence. Keep going for as many times as you’d like the video to loop.
Of course, this is not an elegant solution. Id say figure out the media player on the TV

July 6, 2014 at 11:00 pmSome newer TVs have functionality built in to play/loop videos from connected USB drives, but it’s not a given. Even different models from the same manufacturer vary significantly. Some can do it pretty well while others have such terrible software that it takes a LOT of effort to navigate the menus and get it working right. It’s also pretty important to make sure you have it encoded exactly how it wants it for best performance without stuttering playback. It’s a more elegant and dependable solution to use an external player connected via HDMI. This way you have more control and can guarantee compatibility and quality. There are a lot of options for external players that can loop from an SD card or USB drive.
