    Hi,

I’ve been working on a teledoc for the last couple of days doing the final online edit. For DCP and BluRay they requested a 5.1 Theatermix, and delivered me 5 mono tracks for L, C, R, Lr, Rr and LFE. I placed these on the timeline in that order, A1 being L, A6 being LFE.
After placing these tracks on a 5.1 sequence in Premiere I get proper channels and the 5.1 mixer, but playing the tracks I noticed that my Center channel, being placed on Audio2, is shown in the Master track as line 5, with L R being tracks 1+2, Lr Rr tracks 3+4.

I have added a screenshot at a peak in my audio. As you can see there Audio 2 is represented on Master line 5, but I can’t figure out why.

My question is, is this just a visual thing, or a mixer error? Will these channels be routed correctly when I turn this into a DCP / play it back on a 5.1 system?
And if not, how do I get these tracks to route correctly?

The track order Premiere uses is L,R,SL,SR,C,LFE I have had no problems when exporting to Bluray (using Surcode)

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for that info – it seems I just put the tracks in the wrong order, but routed them right then. That’s a relief.
    Much obliged!
