    Hello,
I’ve been working on Premier CC for months with no issues, until I came to open an ongoing Premier project with mixed source material of XDCam, Prores and H264. On trying to open the project, I get the message “sequences contain missing codecs” etc. The problem seems to be with the XDCam material – After Effects cannot read it (reports as damaged or unsupported) and the Prelude project I used to ingest the material reports it as missing or offline (it isn’t). The XDCam file are readable in Bridge.

I’ve updated to CC2014, and the project now opens in Premier (and Prelude), but I’m still getting the warning on start up of Premier 2014 about missing codecs.

I’ve seen in the archives that this was an issue with CS6, but no reference that I can see to Premier CC.

This issue is coincidental with our licence ending as we’ve switched to the Adobe Value Incentive Plan which does appear to be fully active. I am, however, a bit suspicious of the coincidence.
