  Can’t undo “replace footage” command

  Am I crazy? I’m running PPro CC (7.2.2) on PC.

  I just selected a clip in the bin, chose “replace footage” and accidentally selected the wrong clip. Naturally, I hit Ctrl- Z to undo. Unfortunately, Premiere undid my last edit and left the wrong footage in the bin! There is no sign that the replace footage event happened save for the clip now being wrong. The only way to get my old clip back is to revert to last saved (assuming I have that…)

  Is this a known issue? …or is it just me on a Monday?

  addendum: I just reset Premiere settings and tried again and sure enough, I cannot undo replacing footage.

  from Premiere Help:

  Note:
  You cannot use the Edit > Undo command to undo a footage replacement. However, you can use the Clip > Replace Footage command again to relink a clip to its original source file.

  Yes, I submitted! Thanks. I guess I can sort of see the reasoning but I still believe the ability to undo would be nice/necessary.
