reconnecting audio from p2
Hi All,
I am working on a project that was a live performance. It was shot on two hvx-200’s. I connected to the footage using the media browser. Camera A has an audio feed from the mixing board. Ch1 is music only, Ch2 is voice only, Ch3-4 are the internal microphone. Camera B, Ch1 ME-66 mounted on the camera, Ch2 same mic at lower level, Ch3-4 internal microphone.
So I was working on one computer with all of footage on an external drive. I am only using audio from Camera A because the audio from the board is better then the shotgun mic on camera b. I mixed all of my audio and then had to move to a different computer, I disconnected my external hard drive and plugged it in to a different but identical system. When I opened my project it asked me to reconnect to my media. I did, and now the only audio channel that has sound is channel 1, so I only get the music only mix on channel 1, channels 2-4 are empty. I tried to replace my video footage with the original (i can’t find a way to reconnect a specific audio channel) if i replace the video file, all of the audio channels are channel 1, so music only. I can not find a way to replace a specific audio channel from my p2 footage. If I import the footage again the audio channels work fine, is there any way to reconnect specific audio channels from p2 footage? Any other suggestions?

Before the onslaught, yes i did try opening the project on the original computer, and yes it does ask me to reconnect my media, and yes only channel one of the audio shows up even though there are hundreds of keyframes on channel two.

Have you tried highlighting the sequence in the bin, right click, modify, audio channels and changing the number of tracks?
