  multiple expression controls under one control?

  I’m relatively new to this forum so please excuse me if i screw up some of the terminology…

  My questions is, is it possible to have multiple expression controls within 1 control? basically i want to create something that cabn access a layer like this…

  a1 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(“Angle Control”)(“Angle1”);
  a2 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(“Angle Control”)(“Angle2”);

  if that’s not a possibility what about renaming the expression controls themselves? kinda like this?

  k1 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(“knob1”)(“Angle”);
  k2 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(“knob2”)(“Angle”);

  any help would be appreciated

  If you don’t want to rename them, you can access them by thier order in the effect stack, like this:

  a1 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(1)(“Angle”);
  a2 = comp(“main”).layer(“controller”).effect(2)(“Angle”);

  Yeah, and after a while you don’t really know anymore what control is doing what (except of course for a genius like you, Dan) ;o). In case you are wondering what Dan means by renaming your effects: Select their name in the effects control window and hit “Enter” to assign them a unique name. This will help you to keep track of your stuff.

  doh, why didn’t i think of that!

  thanks, i was wondering how to change those names. I was looking everywhere for a rename option.
