  • Easiest way to rearrange order of clips on timeline ?

(This is on Premiere Pro CC)

Let’s say I have the following order of clips on the timeline:
    A,B,C,D,E

but I wanna change it to say: A,E,D,C,B

Then I again change my mind to order it in another way.

What’s the fastest /most efficient way of doing this ?

Hold the CTRL key while dragging Clip E to new position, this will Ripple the clips around it during the insert.

[Jeff Pulera] “Hold the CTRL key while dragging Clip E to new position, this will Ripple the clips around it during the insert.”

That is correct for PC, Jeff. Thanks.
For Mac, press the Command key while dragging.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Is there a way to ripple all video and audio clips on every track when doing this? I seem to remember being able to do this in the past but now it only ripples the video and audio tracks I’m relocating in the timeline.
