  Error while conforming

  Hi,
  I made a screencast with the program “Free Screen to Video”. I used AVI as the output format, and regrettably, configured that to be uncompressed codec. The screencast was very long and the video file turned out to be 75GB! I wanted to edit that video file, so I imported the uncompressed 75GB AVI file into Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5.

  Premiere Pro started conforming the video file and about 3/4 the way through I got an error (https://goo.gl/zuNQW4) that said, “An unspecified error occurred while performing a conform action on the following file: M:\After Effects\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files\training(0).avi 44100.cfa”.

  I have no idea how to fix that. I tried converting the file to a .mp4 file via Adobe Media Encoder, but I basically got the same error (because Media Encoder had to conform the AVI file before it could convert it).

  How can I get Premiere Pro or Media Encoder to conform this video file so I can edit it?
