  iMac and MacBook Pro on Adobe Premiere & CS6

  Can folks report back on how Adobe Premiere (and CS 6 in general) are working on iMacs, MacBook Pros and Mac Mini?

  My current iMac is about 4 years old, slow, and I’m hankering to get a new one without breaking the bank.

  How much benefit is there to getting one installed with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M vs. the Intel Iris Pro or Intel HD Graphics 4000.

  The one particular feature I’m concerned about is, can I do basic editing (cuts/dissolves) with DSLR footage without transcoding to PRORES, etc. I hear Premiere is really good at this if the tech specs are right.

  Also been hearing OS X Mavericks isn’t playing nice with Adobe CS6. True or not?
