Edits look ‘jumpy’ progressive footage output to interlaced monitor
Im fairly new to Premeire, but have been editing and onlining in FCP for years. I am trying to online a video in Premiere Pro CC, outputting my progressive footage 1080 25p in a matching timeline through a Blackmagic Ultrastudio mini monitor to an Autocue BM-AC24E monitor. No matter what I do in the Premiere / Blackmagic settings the monitor registers a 1080 50i input. So I have set the Blackmagic to output 1080spf and kept editing in a 25p timeline.
Now the footage looks great but the edit points seem to ‘roll’ or flash, not all but enough to have me worried. I need to export a quicktime to send to dub, will this iron itself out in the export and conversion (if I output a 25p QT ) or are there some sequence settings or similar I need to make my 25p footage work outputting for 1080spf.
I have to send to the dubbing house tomorrow and broadcast is 2 days later so any quick tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
