  Premiere CC – OMF export from a multiclip sequence

  I’m trying to export an OMF for audio post-production. The audio was recorded with a jam synced timecode to a recorder. The camera was a C500, having no audio internally. So the on-set audio and .mxf video files were timecode synced using the multiclip sequence in Premiere. However, when exporting .OMF I absolutely need the original audio file names. The audio files in the .OMF refer to the camera .MXF instead when exported, as they are on the timeline in a multiclip. How could I retain the original audio file names?

  Try flattening the audio tracks.

  I tried flattening the tracks, but the .OMF still generates hash-type names to the .WAV files, even though on the timeline I now have the correct naming for the audio. Also, when flattening, it seems as if the 4-channel broadcast wave that was originally recorded, is being mixed to a stereo track when flattened. Can this be true?
