    HI,

I am doing another edit on Premier Pro as part of a decision to look at this as alternative to FCP7.

I can see that there is an option to drag the audio or the video only from a clip to the time line, but how can I drag one track only. In FCP you can deselect an audio track (say track too) in the timeline and then drag in a new clip to the sequence and only video and audio track 1 will be applied to the edit, I can’t to figure this out is PP.

I am sure that it is just button to press somewhere!

    Thanks

Does anyone know how this is done? I keep butting my head against this issue.

When I am adding GVs to cover a sequence I do not always need/want audio from all the channels (4 tracks in P2). I know that in FCP I can toggle on and off the tracks I want to drag audio to, but I cannot figure it out in PP…?
