  • Color shift when entering full screen playback

Hi all. I’ve noticed a difference in color when I play back from the program monitor, and when I play back from full screen (Ctrl+~). The full screen image looks noticeably desaturated in reds and skin tones. Can anybody explain this?

Furthermore, when rendering to H.264, the rendered file will look like the full screen playback (desaturated) when played back in Quicktime, but it will look like the program monitor when played back in VLC.

I think I’ve learned somewhere along the way that the program monitor view is correct (uploaded videos look like VLC when played from YouTube), but is there any way to fix this? I’d like to be able to color-grade in full screen preview mode.

    Thanks guys.
