  • Render problem with rasterized illustrator file in AE6.5

    Hello All,

I’m trying to render an illustrator file set in 3D with a camera. I zoom through the triangle in a letter “A” to reveal the whole title.

It was rendering fine yesterday and a week before that. But today, it’s taking a really long time. No one has been on my machine and all the variables are the same. I did add a piece of footage on top of the file and it seemed that it was then that it started to have trouble. But I isolated the illustrator file and it still didn’t ram preview and I couldn’t render a file. I’ve tried restarting the machine as well and it didn’t make a difference. Other comps in the project without the AI file render fine.

When I isolated the illustrator file and turned of continuously rasterize, it renders fine.

I am using AE 6.5 and Illustrator CS.

Can somebody shed some light on the situation?

    Thanks,
    Lauren
