  • How to import two DVDs to Premiere Pro

Hello all the beautiful people here.
I’m working on a video archive digitizing many VHS cassettes. Some of them are extremely long, and took 2 or 3 DVD discs to be fully copied.
When I import those DVDs in PPro things offten became quite messy because every DVD has files with similar names. For example, first one has VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, second one has VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and so on. Because single VHS tape is now splitted to two DVDs I have two VTS_01_1.VOB, two VTS_01_2.VOB files and so on. They are stored in different folders of course which I’m importing to my project.
Now PPro cached them and surprisingly in my first frame of the sequence I see the picture from the start of the second DVD (cached copy of second VTS_01_1 instead of the first one with original picture).
How this issue can be resolved?
