Red and Premiere CC workflow
Hello,
Can somebody point me to a good place where I can find a Red and Premiere CC workflow? Or If you have one that works, can you share? I’m new at working with r3d files. It is a small production I will be downloading the footage on set. Also we will be mixing footage from red one, 7d, 5d and go pro hero 3. Is that footage gonna match? or are we crazy?
Another thing is I have a machine (macbook pro retina) with thunderbolt and usb3 ports but don’t have enough money for thunderbolt hard drives. Does usb3 hard drives work well moving and editing all that red footage?

Yes you can work off USb3 drives but the latency is much higher. You wont get more than a few layers playback and expect a little latency in your response time.
