  STOCK Radeon 5870 or Quadro 4800?

  I have an old QuadroFX 4800 card that I’m not using. Would replacing the stock ATI Radeon 5870 card with the old NVIDIA Quadro 4800 card increase or decrease performance in Premeire Pro CC ? Obviously, the Radeon card is not Mercury Engine compatible… but, the Nvidia card is a bit old.

  The Radeon should have faster memory GDDR 5 vs the quadro GDDR 3

  Try the Radeon with OpenCL enabled…should work well

  I believe you’re right – Open CL with the 5870 seems to be the best. Thank you!
