OMF Trouble in Premiere
A few months ago shot some short films on a Sony FS700 and imported them into FCP7 as ProRes422 files. Audio was recorded separately on a digital recorder (make/model I’m unaware of) and was given Multi-Track .wav files for editing. Worked smoothly in FCP.
Then I decided to make the switch over to Premiere CC and the XML transfer went smoothly and it was fine. I know it was not smart for me switch platforms mid-project, but when the clips transferred smoothly I figured I was in the clear.
Now I’m onto post-sound and trying to export OMF files of these short films for my sound editor and I get about halfway through the export process when all the sudden an error screen pops up and says that Premiere has to shut down. In the export screen I selected 16 bit, 48kHz, Separate Audio, Broadcast Wave with 24 frame handles.
During this process, files have been created and put into a folder on my hard drive as well as a corrupt .OMF file. Am I doing anything wrong with exporting the files?
In an attempt to remedy this situation, I attempted to export the XML from Premiere to sent back to FCP7 to export OMF’s, but when I imported the XML into FCP I only got a blank timeline.
I’m on a tight deadline, so any quick response would be wonderful now. I’m really hoping I don’t have to go back and mimic the edits in FCP. Thanks!

Sorry this is not working for you, it should be. Are you updated to Premiere Pro CC (7.1)?Here is the bug report form: https://www.adobe.com/go/wish If you have time, please let the team know about your experience.
If OMF export does not work from Premiere Pro, you might try sending the audio to Audition and export an OMF from there. See if that works.
