  Premiere Pro CC on indexing HDV mpeg files.

  Hey guys, I was wondering,

  Premiere Pro CC it seems way slower the Premiere CS6 was when working with HDV mpeg files. So after checking and comparing I noticed that CC doesnt index mpeg files the way CS6 does. CS6 when I import a new mpeg file it creates a new *.mpgindex file whereas in CC it creates the standard pek and cfa files. Is it normal? is it why maybe its so slower? or anything else?
