[Stephen Smith] “I downloaded the Sony F55 plug-in for Premiere. I just made sure I was on the latest version of Premiere CS6 and when I import the files it just says Media Pending. Any idea of what is going wrong and what I can do to fix it?

Not sure about your case but Premiere Pro CC has native support for this format.

    Cheers

That is interesting. I had a friend bring it into Premiere CC and it only imported .jpg files. Could there be something wrong with the file structor? As for CS6 the plug-in says it supports CS6: https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/plad-rw1
For a temporary solution I converted them to ProRes in the Sony software but I would prefer to bring the clips into Premiere.

F55 footage works fine in CC here, you MUST have the XAVC root folder structure intact though

Assuming you are importing via media browser and not file import?

on my Premiere Pro with the F55 plugin it will only import 4K footage, but it will not import 2k hfr.
It gives the media pending thing on mine too.
I am not shooting with proxies, just straight to the xsm card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Everything I worked with was High Frame Rate as well. I gave up and used Sony’s free program to convert RAW files to other codecs like ProRes.

I was asked what Sony RAW software I was talking about. Take a look at this:
