I know…duh! I’m coming rom FCPX which used to do this automatically. I teach a High School TV production class. We just switched to Adobe PP.

We have HD cameras but broadcast through old 4:3 TVs.

What should my project and sequence settings be to do this automatically. Currently the best I can do is NTSC wide. Then we have to resize video to fit the frame.

    Thanks so much!

In Preferences/General, check the box for “Default scale to frame size”. Then when you drop the clips into the 4:3 timeline they will automatically scale to fit.
