  PPro project inport workflow problem

  I am working on a project shot on HDV. I edit on PPro 2.0 and planned to do the latest touches (color correction, antialiasing, scaling) using AE 7.0 but when importing the Ppro project I get all assets in layers but all crossdissolves and fades are gone… they appear as black in the timeline so when previewing or rendering the crossdissolves are just cuts. I wonder if my workflow is incorrect. Is there any way to import a finished PPro project not loosing anything, apply last touches and render out from AE? Any help would be most welcome.

  I believe you need to render your transitions in Premiere. AE doesn’t really re-create those effects, it will just read the clip references. Not sure though, since I don’t use Premiere.
