  Bitrate questions

  1.) Using CS6, how do you check the bitrate of a video as it was shot on a camera?

  2.) Generally, is a video that is shot with a higher bitrate always better quality?

  1) Some formats yes, some no. Right click item in library and select Properties…

  https://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en is a better tool for most file formats

  2) All other things being equal, yes. Other things being not so equal, hard to say without knowing everything.
