Seriously Adobe, is this a bug or a feature?
In Premiere CC if you export audio-only from a timeline that has timeline markers and then re-import to PPro – the timeline markers are embedded in the audio!
I use extended markers for annotating interviews all the time. The only reason I use timeline markers is because clip markers are fiddly and you can’t see them all together in the markers panel, so this is great for me. Finally, I can annotate an interview and have that information follow the relevant sections all the way through an edit.
So is this a feature or I should I thank the bug fairy? If it’s a feature how can I use it without having to export and re-import my audio all the time?
Solve that and all I need is:
-The ability to make markers any colour I want
-To be able to see all clip markers in a timeline in the markers panel (clip markers are much more useful than timeline markers! why are they second class citizens?)
-Keyboard shortcuts for extended markers
-To be able to annotate on the fly (FCP had an “add and edit marker” shortcut) that didn’t stop playback
