  Compressing for best quality lowest file size

  I’m asking this here because the people who use AE are very knowledgeable, I’m not sure where this post should really go…

  I used AE for effects, cut in Avid and now I need to output for a CD (mepg or mov etc) and for online viewing. Uou see music videos on yahoo etc and they have a very good picutre. I’m wondering if anyone knows the best quality to file size ratio that can be used to get a nice playback / compatible / size video.

  I know there are alot of issues here but if anyone has ideas please let me know. I have sorenson squeeze….

  PS the video is DV widescreen. Quicktime plays it as widescreen but REAL plays it squished…
