  No video with WVM file format

  I can no longer see video when playing WMV files in adobe Premiere CS6, After Effects CS6. In Adobe Bridge I can see lower half but top is black. All these were working fine two days ago. I suspect it has something to do with Microsoft critical update that was pushed down around this time. Unfortunately I can’t revert back since restore protection was not set. I can still play theses videos fine in Windows media player or real player.

  Hi Lou,

  The Windows update broke WMV. We’re reaching out to Microsoft. See this thread for more info and the workaround.
