  new to premier – spatial conform

  Hey Guys,

  I’m new to premier and trying to take a sequence that was edited in 720 up to 1080.

  If I drop the sequence into the other sequence, I can scale everything but I have a couple questions.

  1) If a clip is scaled down from 1080 to 720 and then that comp is taken to a 1080 and the sequence is nested and scaled, does it retain the original resolution of the clip? Do I need to “continually rasterize” like I would do in AFX?

  2) Is there any benefit to copying and pasting the clips from the 720 into the 1080? It seems as though I have to go clip by clip and zoom the clip to match 1080.

  Is there any kind of “spatial conform” like FCPX where it will match side to side or top to bottom?
